It is difficult when more than three heads are present to agree on anything. So I must say, when the menu was finally sorted, I suddenly realise the party was actually going to happen.
I contributed minimally to the process apart from providing the venue and cushions to lie on post-meal. Some credit to me please. Even if you're not prepared relax, the inevitable happens. Laden with both gossip and food, we spent a fruitful saturday afternoon positioned in front of the telly, in a horizontal position.

You didn't JUST have that rice did you?!
Santan rice + laying horizontal afterwards just doesn't sound too good for the ol' waistline :P
I still don't see what's so deadly about the rice.
You don't keep it in the fridge more than a day, do you?
Kurious: On no. We had home-made sambal petai along with it.And no, we don't make a habit of being in a horizontal position so close after lunch. But, circumstances permitted this luxury:) Everything in moderation dear boy!!
Aunty marianne: It's deadly for the very reason we soaked it liberally in coconut milk. The aroma infiltrated every room in my apartment. I think it clogged the arteries quite a bit....living dangerously can be such a hassle.
Still on the rice? Must have been good! Are you OK? Post and let us know.
Aunty marianne: Have moved onto errrm....crackers and peanut butter. I missed coffee today and felt zonked out as a result. Another to add to the things of how not to have a bad day.
