Hello, it is very comforting to find myself ...blogging about food. ( My one true passion or so it may seem from the numerous entries earlier...)
If this is your first time exposed to Japanese food, you may well suffer a fright at the very sight. The first thing to tell others is, Japanese food equates to healthy food. Oh yes, its proven the japanese as a race live longer. I once read ( one of the rare times I waded through the national geographic ) there's an island off the coast of Japan, where the average age is 80.THis extraordinary fact serves to emphasize....the secret of longevity must include Japanese food.

Oh... I have been off raw food... I absolutely love Japanese food.. so these photos make me drool.
Japanese is my favorite too; love the sushi. Which exact food-product is sprinkled on top of that top dish here?
Lasez: Drooling is good no??
Gnightgirl:I have NO IDEA:) It tasted like fried onion skin....but instead of the crispy texture...it was chewy. I didn't dare ask the waitress what it was..in case it was something outlandish like parboiled fish gill or something. Ignorance is bliss.
