Will Kemp was a famous Elizabethan actor who achieved something remarkable through this Morris Dancing. In 1599, he danced for 125 miles from London to Norwich over nine days. Kemp's Jig was published in the 17th century....to celebrate this feat.Why the sudden interest in this song?? Because I've chosen this song for my exam piece.
