Carole Matthews writes romantic comedy. I'm now keen on her books. When do you know you like an author or rather her style? You read....and you just want to continue reading. And when you pace yourself ( with some self control) and make the book last more than a week, it can still hold your interest. Matthews does that for me.
Her start to the writing world reads like a fairy tale. She wins an essay contest, spends her prize money on a writing course, gets recognized by a course teacher and gets offered a deal.
