Marriages are made in heaven

My good friend got married Saturday. It was a lovely wedding mass.....instead of the usual wedding march up the aisle, we sang a lovely hymn. It is the bride's perogative to arrive a little later ...but I'm pleased to say...we weren't kept waiting for that long. The bride floated up the aisle on the arm of her proud father. She appeared neither shy nor in awe of the crowds gathered to celebrate her wedding. The mother of the bride had arrived earlier. There was a huge collection of saris in various gorgeous colours.

It's been ten years since I last visited Assumption Church in Assunta. What is it about growing older..everything shrinks in size, the church looked smaller...and cosier. The reception was held at a near-by hotel. God bless the newly-weds:) Congratulations ...... Posted by Picasa
