Somebody's got to do it

Image taken from QTW

2 Saturdays back, I had 3 loads of laundry to do. In fact I can tell you I made it into 2 loads. Under normal circs, this wouldn't have been a issue. Instead, I now know the shiny sequins on your clothes WILL snag whatever bits they fancy. ( Despite being in a special laundry bag)

We only do laundry like every ten days or 2 weeks (since we need to book the laundry room in the basement) so we usually have at least 5 loads! But there are three machines, two dryers and one drying cabinet so it's pretty efficient.

wow!!You must have a lot of clothes to spare. I think my wardrobe might not stretch to 2 weeks, only because I have favourites which I tend to wear over and over and over.

Yeah tell me about it. I hate doing the laundry, and of late I don't know why I've been buying clothes that won't stand the rigours of the destructive spin cycles. Laundry BY HAND is far far worse :(

fibrate: I blame the shops for tempting us with niceties which dun wash well in machines.

I have too many clothes...Sure, I have my favourites too but I'm still guilty of having so many clothes that I could probably wait longer than two weeks. I would probably need to buy more socks though

anna:Thank you ...so now I know I'm not the only person with a FULL wardrobe. Gave away 9 plastic bags of clothes end of 2008...and the cupboard is slowly filling up AGAIN.
