Are you traditional or trendy?

Whichever you are, getting a pedicure isn't just getting some colour on your toes. It's a whole process of de-stressing. It's time to forget your hang-ups about being ticklish.Just let those thoughts go and allow yourself to enjoy. Otherwise, there's a risk you 'll end up NEVER experiencing a good thing.

I recently had a sort of pedicure fiasco! I received gift certificate for pricey spa a year ago, and finally used part of it for mani/pedi. The technician filed the skin off of the top of my toe, and the polish never set up. These services cost 3 times as much as most of the local services; the grand total was almost $100.

After much handwringing and encouragement from friends, I wrote the manager, who was mortified, gave me all of my money back, and begged me to come back.

So...happy ending, I hope!

gnightgirl: Oh NOOOOO!! Sounds like a nightmarish experience. THAT technician sounds like a beginner. DAMM right you should get your money back...I wouldn't return tho. (How's the shaved-toe btw?)

Syukur: I keep my nails short...so manicure sessions are very infrequent.

Letti: YES! It's a good stress-busting activity.
