Mushroom pastry

Mary Berry would be proud of the baker who was responsible for this little number. I believe the correct word is puff pastry. Puff pastry is done with pastry and butter in between and many turns of the pastry to give it the many layers. This must be kept chilled and butter must be allowed to leak out of the pastry.

This was breakfast this morning after mass which ended just a little before 0930 this morning. Then it was a quick drive here for coffee ( I had long black ...wasnt strong enough for me ) and some pastries.
